Very pleased with our 2 night stay at Hazeldene guest house. excellent position on the main road into Bowness and not too far to walk into Windermere town either. Very clean, our room with stunning views over the lake was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and hosts Chris and Victoria were friendly and nothing seemed too much for them to make our stay perfect. would highly recommend. The only negative feedback was our room was slightly too warm on the second night dropping the score to 4.99 out of 5! - Martin G
We decided last minute to get away & Hazeldean was a lovely choice.Chris & Victoria are very responsive & friendly hosts.The room was lovely with a view of the lake in the distance.Bed was comfy & we enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast when we woke.It's a quick walk down to the lake but far enough away to be peaceful.Highly recommend & hope to visit again.. Had our 1st stay at the Hazeldene on Maundy Thursday for 2 nights...lovely hosts Chris & Vanessa, couldn't do enough for us, especially as I was feeling under the weather.Lovely home, beautifully clean, gorgeous breakfast. In the middle of Lake Road in Bowness and plenty to do around up to Windermere or going down to the Lake. We will be back. Thank you - Karen Williams
